Yes it is…. If you really need a proper ID for this fly, you need to show us more photos taken from different angles and a better view on the chaetotaxy of the legs. On this photo we can’t see many necessary details….so the only option we have, is to guess. My guess is Muscidae….maybe Thricops semicinereus. (this is not mentioned as comment, but just to say, how difficult these type of flies are to ID with only one photo taken from a long distant, so the details are to blur or not visible anymore) Johanna |

Thank you very much. I am aware of the difficulty of determining the flies on the picture, but I hope the experience of specialists. In this case, I quite like the definition of the object Muscidae. It take the picture, so there is no right to determine the exact angles and details. |
