Hello, is the family- or even the genus-ID possible without a view from the top of the wings? Location: Germany, east of Nordrhein-Westfalen, on the edge of a deciduous forest, size each fly about 6 mm, only this photo taken on 04.05.2014. Hi Theo, Is it possible for these to be Macquartia dispar (Tachinidae)? I think Macquartia can appear unlike Tachinidae from certain angles. regards, Steve |

Hi Steve, Maybe I was too fast, you could be right. What bothers me is that I don't see haids on the eyes. Theo |
