Hallo,
05.09.2014 nearby Port Fitou, while I was birdwatching, this fly came into my car.

Perhaps someone knows, which kind of fly I found.

Best regards
Horst Schlüter

Hello Horst,

PS. Becaus I have Problems to show in this Forum my pictures,

no special characters or spaces in filename? Size < 200 KB?

I'll giv a Link:

Doesn't work with all of my browsers. In Firefox it worked exactly one time, then it showed something different (gallery of many animals). This one time I could only recognize a horse fly (Tabanidae), probably genus Tabanus.
Best regards,
Jürgen

Horst Schlueter,

Seeing this I think it looks more like a Hybomitra expollicata. A salt tolerant species.

Greetings,

Ectemnius
