Yes, female Hydrotaea, in dentipes group, but not dentipes itself.

Hello Stephane, When looking into the "Royal Entomological Society Muscidae key", what make it not Hydrotaea dentipes ? It's can't be Hydrotaea similis with 3 antero-ventral on the hind tibia, the discal vein look to be curved and the mid tibia don't look to have antero-dorsal setae |

Hydrotaea dentipes is supposed to have a shining ocellar triangle, at least around the anterior ocellus, which is not the case here. It is hard to tell whether it as an ad on t2 or not from these angles of view... I can't say more about it, sorry. Stephane. |
