Flies atop warring ants (Tanzania)

Any idea what the flies atop these warring matabele ants are? Photo is from the Udzungwa mountains in Tanzania.

They are Scuttle Flies (Phoridae). Several species have associations with ants. Brian Brown or Henry Disney may be able to help further.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
