Italy, Apennines near Lucca, 370 msl, 1st August. Valley slope, open woodland, foliage sprayed with dilute honey. I think this is Xylotachina diluta , note the pale basicosta. There are unusually just 2 ketepisternal bristles on the left side but the normal 3 on the right side. Steve sd attached the following image: [180.97Kb] |
