Hello,

I saw this fly only a few of times, small (about 5-6mm), I think Coenosia genus, could it be Coenosia tigrina?

Yes. Coenosia. I'd say C. tigrina group (considering body colours). But for sure is better to wait someone with more muscids' xp.

Coenosia, but not tigrina group to me (av and ad on hind tibia are not at same level).
Stephane.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
