This one is very small ( 3-4 mm), seen on leaves at the edge of a wood. Is it a fanniidae ? Hambraine, Belgium, August 10. I was wondering looking at the basal part of femur 3 it is pale - is this characteristic of the male? female always seems black? Dr Elisabeth A. Harris @FloraConsUK |

Leg colour is somewhat variable in this species. A long antenna claerly visible on this photo is a good jizz. Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |

Thanks Nikita, nothing is ever that simple! Great photo, I'm assuming because of the small size a male? Dr Elisabeth A. Harris @FloraConsUK |
