Unfortunately I only have a lateral view picture. Most of the important characteristics to distinguish T. striatus and T. partitus are not visible. Although Burger and Thompson in their publication "Tabanus stratius complex" seem to indicate that T. partitus is the species found in Thailand, I think I will stick to Tabanus sp.
