Hello,
the picture is from June 30, It was taken on a small sanddune near river Dosse in Brandenburg, Germany. I think it could be Apodacra dispar. Is it possible to give an ID?

Best regards from Hans

Hi Theo,
thank you so much for your reply!
So is it really Apodacra dispar?
Why is it surprising you?

Cheers, Hans

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
