Dear Bertrand, This is a female of Gymnopternus cupreus. It can be distinguished from the other European species in this genus with dark femora by the presence of multiple (3) ventral bristles on tibia II, and the entirely pale hind tibia. Like most Gymnopternus species, it is a true spring species (some of its congeners show a second generation, this one does not thus far). With kind regards, Marc |
