Good evening,
Found this fly today of about 11 mm. in grassy area near a waterfall, riverbank woodland at 350 mts., above sea level in Morgadans (NW Spain).
Can anybody help to put a name to her?

Pleased to hear.

Thnks in advance.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
