do not know, some images on net shows neatodes as more or less microscopic, like this: https://en.wikipe...t_nematode
at others, as usualy, no data on size, but do look like mine which is 15 mm.

Enchytraiedae for sure. and a bit of a large species. However it is unidentifyable just by looking at the photo and in my opinion it is even an immature one, so identification is still almost impossible.
It is no Nematode for there is segmentation visible.

This is 1:1 of focused parts. Please confirm that this is segmentation ?

yes it has. However these small lines on the cuticle do represent pseudosegmentation and the true segmentation (septa) are more widely spaced. I think that the white part is the head and the one with this internal brown faeces is the tail. I even think that I can see bristle-like structures on the tail (chaetae), but maybe this is wishful thinking....

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
