As far as I know Lucilia sericata should have 3 pairs of acrostical postsutural bristles on the thorax and yours only have two Wink This is a female Lucilia sp. of some other species. Lucilia is a genus dreadfully difficult to ID from pictures, particularly females.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
