Not Scatellla - the costa stops at R4+5, which makes it Scatophila. Interesting that it should be active in such cold weather!

Thanks for the replies. The first shot is of a live specimen on top the wheat bales. I then captured the fly, brought it home and took some more shots after needling it. Regards, Pentti. |
