Could anyone suggest where i can find the latest information on the British and or Danish Asilidae? I need information about their distribution and abundancy in these countries(? rare, common, etc.) Names of authors are welcome. As is help probably. Project will start later this year or early next year.

I intend to translate the following in English:

Guide to the asilidae of the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and the British isles

In Dutch: http://waarneming.nl/download/fotogidsAsilidae.pdf

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol
