Here's a fly from the woods in july with a dark wings, a brown scutellum and a thorax that appears dark from one angle and light from another. The abdomen looks like an Anthomyiid, but I've not found it in the galleries, nor under muscids. Can the genus be named? Thricops sp? (Muscidae). Just a guess. |
