On 2013-08-31 I found this fly laying its eggs into faeces on a stump of tree in a forest near Marburg, Hesse, Germany. For me it looks similar to Anthomyia pluvialis in the gallery. Seems more A. procellaris, a common fly......but strangly still not recorded for Germany ?? Maybe Ackland could common on this one also.... Edited by javanerkelens on 27-09-2013 20:43 |
