I think it might be Helymya sp. Is it correct ? Is it possible to get an ID at the species level ?

I am afraid that you won't get an ID to species level in a general top view photo. None the characters used to ID these anthomyiid females is visible. I don't think it is a Hylemya species from the darker spots at the bases of the scutal setae which suggest to me a Delia species. The photo does not show the hairing of the arista which is plumose in Hylemya. |
