No Syrphid, it is Stratiomyidae - Odontomyia angulata (http://www.dipter...to_id=8199)  . |

Well, I have no Stratiomyidae key, but from many pictures (e. g. http://intruiging...a-viridula) I learnt that Oplodonta viridula has dotted eyes, and also the colouration of the frons looks different.
