 Possible Ichneumon Wasp

This remarkable iridescent wasp (which superficially looks to me like an Ichneumon Wasp of some sort) appeared during one of my regular entomological recording sessions. I have NO idea as to the ID, and with something like 6,000 species of Ichneumonoidea known to be present within the UK fauna, my hope of alighting upon the ID without professional assistance is practically nil. Specimen was captured temporarily for photography with the USB microscope (because it was only 4mm long minus the ovipositor, far too small for proper photos with my Fuji camera!), then released after numerous shots taken. Specimen found at OS Grid Reference SJ499855 on 1st June 2013, 12:11 BST. Weather conditions: sunny, warm, mild breeze, virtually zero cloud cover. Any help will be appreciated! Looks like Chalcidoidea to me. Antenna not right for Inneumonoidea and veins on the wing seem to be considerably reduced
