I caught this fly today in Tottenham, one of 3 or 4 members of this family in a patch of nettles. I would like to try it through the relevant key, can anyone suggest which genus I might try? Also present in the nettles was a Microchrysa, a Beris and a big pink Empis jeremyr attached the following image: [166.3Kb] Edited by jeremyr on 15-05-2013 20:34 |

thanks a lot Stefan. I've seen Argyra before. They look very ghostly when flying in hedgerows on the evening. I will have a go at they key Jeremy Edited by jeremyr on 10-05-2013 20:29 |
