I found some old photos today, taken in Szeged, S. Hungary, on 30.07.2009. I think the fly is Atylotus loewianus male (hairy eyes and uniformly golden body color). Is it possible to confirm (or correct) this ID?

For me correct ID. Head nod wider than thorax, more golden species, and notopleural lobes yellowish.

Thank you for your assessment of this case! I greatly appreciate it!
Kind regards,

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
