This Tachinidae was close to 11 mm. Is it possible to tell genus and perhaps species?
Photos from 18 august 2012 Nattsjön 62, E 17 Ångermanland, Sweden.

Looks like a Phebellia sp. The strongest humeral setae are arranged in a triangle.

If it is Phebellia then even a specimen might be tricky to go further with Wink
