I think I see the Phaonia bristle. Can it be a male Phaonia trimaculata? Confirmation or correct ID will be most appreciated Smile

Taken in the outskirts of Madrid on a flowery meadow on the 2nd May 2012.

Thanks a lot, Stephane!! TumbsUp

Looks rather peculiar to me (so long-legged), comparing to other Herina I have photographed Shock But there are so many Helina species in Spain... Any chance of proposing some potential names? Cool Wink TumbsUp

Thanks!!

Any suggestion of a potential ID (or even a confirmation of it being impossible) would be most appreciated Wink

If you do want a suggestion, it could be the common Helina reversio, but we cannot even see whether abdomen is spotted or not as a start point.

Adding a more frontal view of it. Does it confirm Helina reversio? Or Helina cf. reversio would be better? Thanks!!
