Thank you. Gunnar! One question: as far as I could find via google Pericomaini is a tribe within the genus Pericoma, is that right? Greetings, Ingo

It is the other way around, "tribe" is the level between "family" and "genus". Pericoma is one of the genera of Pericomaini, but other genera such as Pneumia, Ulomyia and Berdeniella are also rather common in Europe. The reason a google search won't find much on Pericomaini is that the taxon until recently was called Pericomini. This is, however not a valid name because there was a Pericomini in Dermaptera before there was one in Psychodidae. |
