Tephritidae, Tephritis praecox? [confirmed]

The wing pattern on this fly looks a very good match for Tephritis praecox. However the photo was taken in a garden in Leicester, UK in August 2008 and I believe that the UK is only meant to have old coastal records for this species. Is it what it appears to be? Thank you.
