I guess this time it is not Bombylius major ... and I don't know if it's possible to Id it to species level ...

80 km south Paris, France, May the first 2012.

Hello,
There is a Bee-Fly key here:
http://home.hccne...index.html
but I can't enough of the detail of the fly to be able to get to species level from it... and it only covers NW Europe so might well miss a mediterranean species.
