Hope I won't bore you with my Cylindromyas. Just too cute not to pay them attention ![]() This one was found in the mountains of Madrid, in August 2011, on Eryngium campestre. Combining all views I can see the three marginal bristles on the scutellum: apical, sub-apical and basal. Going through the keys I think this belong to the very complex group of brassicaria, pilipes, xylotina, brevicornis. I think it is brassicaria but I cannot be even half sure. Help, please! Well, it is clearly NOT brevicornis and I can't see why it would not be brassicaria. But it is not 100 % sure, since several rare species are extremely similar Theo |
