Hi

Switzerland, 13.10.2011, 430 msm, on balcony

learning to separate Melanostoma mellinum from Melanostoma scalare . . .
Is this one a female of M.scalare?

any help is highly apreciated

Right. M. scalare for me - female. Because of the shape of spots and triangular dusting area on frons.
