Photographed in a damp field near Reading, UK, on 2011-09-19.

I haven't come across any Ptychoptera before that have these orange patterns on their abdomens.

Ptychoptera albimana going by the colour of tarsi on hind legs

The amount of yellow on the abdomen is highly variable in my local species of Ptychoptera.
