Clitheroe UK 16 July 2009 I'm going through old stuff to make a list of sightings for the County Recorder - they don't seem to have any accessible Diptera records. I have this one filed as O. germinationis, but the abdomen colour looks like recent postings of O. petrei. How should I name it? Stephen R attached the following image: [58.28Kb] |

FWIW, this female was photographed (sic ) at the same place within a few minutes.

It's not uncommon to find both species at the same location. The first one really looks like O. petrei and the second like O. germinationis.
