Seen at wooden bridge over meandering river on 13 oct 2010 in eastern part of the Netherlands. Can someone help me further with the possible ID.

That is pretty late !

Given time of year and from what I can see (hairy eyes, 5 vittae on thorax, doubled discal bristles), I'd say Eumea mitis.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
