Photographed today February 28, 2011. Day of Andalusia.
6-8 mm. In coppice area, an area of pine forests. Much pollen in the air, are the white spots is an insect and are on the flower. To be pollinated photographic equipment ...
Conjuro area, near the town of Lujar, in Granada, Spain.

Not Syrphidae (check wing venation) ... I would guess it is closer to Bombylidae Wink

a very beautiful Parageron sp. This genus is currently being revised by David Gibbs.
