I think this is the Ps setigera female, but i'm not 100% sure. Alternatively it should be brevicornis. http://psychodidae.webfotoalbums.nl/displayimage.php?pid=372&fullsize=1 http://psychodida...fullsize=1 the midge has disconneted forked veins http://psychodidae.webfotoalbums.nl/displayimage.php?pid=376&fullsize=1 http://psychodida...fullsize=1 and the antenna has the last two segments gradually decreasing ins size http://psychodidae.webfotoalbums.nl/displayimage.php?pid=373&fullsize=1 - not a fantastic picture, but even so. http://psychodida...fullsize=1 I found Ps setigera males at the same site, as well as Ps brevicornis both sexes. (I hope I can make better pics of Ps brevicornis some time later for comparison.) Can some of you confirm my identiication? PS: I tried the function 'Displays image from a given URL address' but I can't get it to work for me.. Edited by Louis Boumans on 26-02-2011 20:24 |
