Looks like a tachinid to me... something like Zeuxia.

Hmm, it does rather look like Zeuxia cinerea but I think I'd prefer Theo's confirmation

Today I found that the fly was dead, so I kept it and can photograph details, if needed. It looks a bit shrivelled meanwhile... |
