20 June 2010 - 850 ms - Angistrou Mts - Wetland Kerkini - N. Greece - this is the big guy - more than 2 cms long.

Thanks a fourth time, this big brown bomber is certainly common here in the hills. I have Martin Ebejer, Paul Gat and John Deeming (unsure of spelling there) (plus two myrmecologists) visiting for a diptera week. They have gone south and west out of the national park for a few days but will be back on Friday, so we will be out again, and I expect their will be more photos as I am not really collecting now - I am preparing to emmigrate.
