Collected from fungi in Far East of Russia. Larva looks like Sciophila. Is it so? Somebody tried to determine and abdomen was partly lost. Found in collection.

Ditomyiidae. Ditomyia or Asioditomyia but the area where Rs and M run is just not clear enough to be certain.

Sometimes it may happen - larva of one species and imago from another (especially in old collections). Many thanks. I am now away from camera and this specimen and can not repeat the photo.![]() |
