Pictures are bad, because it was running fast. Can it be identified as Stenepteryx hirundinis? 21-05-2009, La Fontouret, Indre, France. Thanks for any information. Since we are converting an old barn into a house I have to remove some of the nests anyhow. I read that they can be found in winter. But I have no idea how they look like? Pictures are bad. Is there anything to say about this fly. Found on weak Barnswallow-young. One I kept. Is there a simply way to preserve it?
