 Photographed in Bormio Valtellina SO ( May 2006). Eyes are hairy but through the pictures you can not see well. The yellow spots abdominal are not oblique . I think Scaeva selenitica but I'm not sure. Thanks

 Dasysyrphus venustus group. (The bands on tergites reach te margins)
