Well, they all are Leucostoma indeed. It is impossible to ID this genus from pictures. So start collecting ..... Theo |

Pietro, surely you have a great place for them! Try to rear some caterpillars in a closed and medium-size recipient. Some of them could be parasited by tachinids. It's a good way to see tahcinids and knowing some relationships between tachinids and caterpillars. Sometimes you can find ichneumonid or braconid wasps. Also see the fantastic site of Chris Raper here: http://tachinidae... -- and go to the downloads section... you have there very good material to begin with tachinids.! Enjoy the Diptera world!!! |
