Bit dark.

The general habitus is like Phania spec.

The third antennal segment suggest Acemyia, though.

NEed to see more.

Dear Theo,

This fly is extremely dark. Even with +2 EV the fly keeps dark. awkward It has only a pale patch near pronotum.

Which is the chaetotaxy that determines the species?

Do you need frontal / dorsal views?

Dear Theo,

I used my golden small loup (very good one, but amplifies only 20x), and check the shape of antennae. It is very clear that the 3rd antennal segment drawn forwards into a pointed tip at the distal end! Grin

So this must be really an Acemyia. I think it is impossible to add more with this photo. Smile To chekc the possible species, tell me more info, please.

Is Metacemyia a synonym of Acemyia?

I'm sorry, Jorge, but it is not Acemyia.
The tip of the antenna is artificially bent, it seems.
In any case, it is a male Phania, it resembles and might be Ph. incrassata (but those Phania's are very similar)
