Bit dark. The general habitus is like Phania spec. The third antennal segment suggest Acemyia, though. NEed to see more. Theo |

Dear Theo, This fly is extremely dark. Even with +2 EV the fly keeps dark. ![]() Which is the chaetotaxy that determines the species? Do you need frontal / dorsal views? |

Dear Theo, I used my golden small loup (very good one, but amplifies only 20x), and check the shape of antennae. It is very clear that the 3rd antennal segment drawn forwards into a pointed tip at the distal end! ![]() So this must be really an Acemyia. I think it is impossible to add more with this photo. ![]() |

I'm sorry, Jorge, but it is not Acemyia. The tip of the antenna is artificially bent, it seems. In any case, it is a male Phania, it resembles and might be Ph. incrassata (but those Phania's are very similar) Theo |
