Sorry, gentlemen. Frankly, nothing to say but "Platystoma sp." again. The genus needs revision in the Near East. Looks like P. arcuatum Loew, the species common in Lebanon, Israel and Syria, but there are many questions still.

I agree with Valery: P. arcuatum Loew. I have numerous specimens from Turkey that resemble this photograph and have little doubt about the identity. Indications are that the distribution is wider ... possibly as far East as Iran.
