Some photos I took through a binocula microscope, by way of experiment. They are sternite V showing squarish membranous; scutum showing black spot above wing base; head and scutum; and hind metatarsus showing small basal ventral setulae, nearly always present in Anthomyiidae

The photo was 72 dpi and 20Kb (.jpg) but it was rejected as invalid! Any suggestions?

Use small letters in name and extention. Don't use space in file name.

I used small letters, no spaces, no preview. By the way, pdf files are listed in one place, but not on the frequently asked questions about posting files

It has happened to me that I had to recompress an image to get PHP-Fusion to accept it.

Edit: What is the exact error message?

Probably there is none, it is just not accepted. Sometimes I tried attaching images that other sent me when they failed to get it attached. Then usually I was unsuccesfull, too, until I opened the image in IrfanView, saved it again and tried again. Something saved with the original image makes it being rejected, but I don't know what.

Here is one of the other photos. It is the hind metatarsus. If it does not appear I will give up!
