Dear Forum,

this fly was found at the outside of a window, near a pile of wood (includes some populus). Is it Solva marginata?

 Yes, sir. Polar is by far the most common tree on which this species is found.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
