I found this fly in the East of France, last october. It looks like an Heleomyzidae but I am not sure of it. Is it possible to confirm the family, and maybe get the correct genus ? Thank you.

Hello! How big (or better: small) was it? For me as a non-expert it looks more like Scaptomyza (Drosophilidae). Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

Thank you. It was indeed a small fly (about 3 mm). As I see only 2 rows of ac, may I consider it as probably Scaptomyza pallida ? |
