Hi Switzerland, 05.05.2013, about 430 msm, on dead wood (pilled for drying), near edge of wood and and small wetlands length (body) female about 20-25 mm Wing details pic shows wing of male. These nice pictures are of Tipula (Emodotipula) obscuriventris Strobl, 1900. There is a second (rare) Emodotipula in Switzerland, T. (E.) saginata. The female ovipositor however looks like obscuriventris |
