I'm getting confused with this Drosophila, cross veins seems to be closed (a-cv and p-cv), eye light red/orange with hairs, no spots/stripes in the scutellum and mesonotum, arista with 6-7 long branches, anterior scutellars divergent, I can't identificate the abdominal bands. Long about 2-3 mm. I found it on a trunk of a pear tree, below 100m. Can someone please try to id it? ![]() The candidates maybe are: D. melanogaster, D. histrio 17.03.2013 - Padua - Northeast Italy ![]() IMG_9965 di Marcello Consolo, su Flickr ![]() IMG_9962 di Marcello Consolo, su Flickr Thanks for the help. I thought with all the other keys it was a bit more "easier" to identificate, but yes, without the abdominal pattern there are only suppositions. Thanks anyway Paul. Ciao, Marcello Paul Beuk wrote:
