Wow ... not familiar at all but it looks really interesting Can you post a few more angles? I'm intrigued by the shape of the abdomen.

Well here is a picture from behind. It seems to have her ovipositor bend under the abdomen. Strange fly indeed. Even more mysterious ... I'd love to key it - the abdomen must be very distinctive ... as are the petiole, yellow palps, short yellow antennae and head shape
