Found the dried up remains of this fly at Scatsta Airport. Size is about ~4mm. Looks like some kind of Suillia?? which haven't been recorded up here.

hello Roger,
Look like Neoleria inscripta Smile ...
but I cannot see the anterior orbital bristle (? broken a the basis).
there is a second possibility but I don't like to make a mess.

Hi Andrzej...."Looks like" is good enough for this ex-fly.
The second possibility has already occurred....it has fallen to bits...awkward
